In this exhibit the visitor can see the evolution of the idea of the royal ancient Egyptian tomb starting from the mastaba, then the step pyramid and finally the complete pyramid. Several models of different pyramids are displayed in the exhibit. Moreover, the visitor can find models which explain different theories about how the pyramids were built and another model for the pyramid complex.
