Our Modern Egypt Exhibit covers an important part of our history starting from the reign of Mohammad Aly from 1805 until the 23rd of July revolution in 1952. The new museum is very rich as it has got a fascinating royal décor, an explanation for 52 characters of this era (Khedives, Sultans, Kings, politicians, artists…..etc.), 38 busts and more than 150 photos and portraits. Moreover important events & incident (such as Danshaway incident, the police battle, the citadel massacre ..etc.) are all explained inside the museum accompanied by several photos and paintings.
